Alien contracts in Mexico City

On 6 February 2017, in the Escuela Libre de Derecho, in Mexico City, Marco de Benito delivered a lecture about the Italian category of contratti alieni, contracts drawn up according to Anglo-American modes and categories but governed by the law of a civil law country. He gave several examples of the complex issues that this combination raises, and the risks that it entails, which lawyers (and their clients) are not always fully aware of.

Marco de Benito was kindly invited and presented by Luis Díaz Mirón, Rector of the Escuela Libre de Derecho, and Carlos Loperena, a professor at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and one of the most renowned Mexican arbitrators.
